Incognito Positioning Booster Seat - Black

from Safety 1st

The Safety 1st Incognito is a new Kid Positioning Seat. Designed to prevent slouching, it is more comfortable for your child to ride on. Most importantly, it keeps the seat belt positioned where it should be. Offered in a variety of colors to match most car interiors, the Incognito Kid Positioning Seat blends into your vehicle's seat and helps eliminate kids' worries about what their friends think about them still riding in booster seats. It delivers peace of mind for parents who want their child to be safe - no matter their age!

Features:

  • For kids from 60 to 120 pounds and up to 60" in height
  • The first of its kind, the Incognito Kid-Positioning Seat prevents slouching and makes it more comfortable for kids to ride in the car
  • Keeps the vehicle belt positioned where it should be - the lap belt should rest low, on top of the thighs, and the shoulder belt should lie comfortably across the middle of the chest
  • Designed to blend into the seat, kids avoid the embarrassment of being seen in a belt-positioning booster designed for younger, smaller kids

The Booster Seat Challenge:

Traditional belt-positioning booster seats are designed for a different time in a child's life. A time where bright colors, heavy padding, and personal cup holders make riding in them fun. Great when your child is 5 years old - not so much when they're 8!

Children grow at different rates, and at different ages. While one 9-year-old may be well within the Adult Seating Safety Zone, another 9-, 10-, or even 11-year-old may not. Therein lies the car seat challenge - at least as far as your child is concerned. Even though you know what's best for your child in terms of vehicle safety, your child likely won't agree ... especially if their friends are past the point of riding in boosters. You want your kids to be safe - every parent does.

Adult Seating Safety Zone:

To reach this zone, a child must be big enough to use the car's seat belt without slouching, with their back against the vehicle's seat back, with their knees bent over the edge of the seat, and with their feet flat on the floor. The lap belt should rest low, on top of the thighs, and the shoulder belt should lie comfortably across the middle of the chest.
