Toddler Fighting Leukemia Gets a Match

The parents of Nolan Trepanier, an 18-month-old boy with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia, partnered with Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association (KBBMA) to host swabbing events in hopes of finding a match for a stem cell transplant for Nolan.
The KBBMA was happy to announce that a match was found from their existing registry for Nolan, and as a result of the events hosted by Nolan’s parents, 387 potential donors were registered to help thousands of other Canadians.
Nolan and his family are expected to visit Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto to begin the process for the transplant and are forever grateful to their community and their donor for the love and support they have shown.
