Teacher Watches Former Student's Baby During Job Fair

A heartwarming story shares how a teacher went above and beyond for a former student.

A heartwarming story is making news after a teacher in Chicago sat with a struggling former student's three-week-old baby while the student attended a job fair.

Teacher LaShonda Carter was browsing through Facebook one sleepless night when she started chatting with former student Larresha Plummer.

Plummer told Carter about the rough times she had been going through and mentioned a job fair she wanted to attend.

Knowing that Plummer had no form of safe transportation with a newborn, nor a way to bring the baby with her to the fair, Carter took it upon herself to help.

Not only did Carter drive Plummer to the job fair, she also sat with Plummer's baby while the young woman attended the job fair.

Since the special moment has been shared, a GoFundMe page has been set up by Carter for Plummer.
