Moms Work TWO Full-Time Jobs

Is there such a thing as work-life balance when you're a mom?

It's official, moms work two full-time jobs.

According to a new study discussed on simplemost.com, moms work 98 hours per week.

The study, which compared more than 2,000 moms, found that the average mom generally kickstarts her day at 6:23 a.m. and doesn’t wrap up work or family duties until 8:31 p.m., equating to almost 100 hours of collective work each week.

But is this study really a surprise?

It seems like for centuries, women have struggled with working outside of the home while balancing their responsibilities within the home. In fact, we recently published an article here on Babywise that deals with exactly that dilemma entitled "To the Working Mom".

While the study itself is good to open dialogue, that's exactly what it necessitates, further discussion.

Is it ever possible for a mom to achieve work-life balance? Do you agree with the number of hours a mom works per day? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
