Hospital Uses Baby Sleeping Bags for Safe Sleep

Hospitals are giving new moms sleep sacks to promote safe sleep.

A Texas hospital admits to using baby sleeping bags for the past year to promote safer infant sleep.

No, this isn't the same sleeping bag that you'd go camping in or use for older children.

According to KCBD.com, Covenant Children's Hospital plans on using and giving the HALO SleepSack to new parents for the next year thanks to a grant from the Covenant Cares Foundation.

While the sleep sacks are not necessarily new, grants like the above-mentioned are allowing hospitals to introduce them to a new audience.
