Drew Brees' Sideline Motivational Quote for His Boys

What this dad said after he broke a record will inspire you.

Monday night during a home game in the Super Dome, Drew Brees broke the all-time passing yards record while throwing a 62-yard touchdown.

The record was previously held by Peyton Manning for the past 1,000 days.

While I love football, what stood out even more to me was the motivational quote Drew Brees delivered to his boys on the sideline.

After coming off the field, he grabbed his three boys in his arms and said this to them:

You can do anything in life you’re willing to work for.

Immediately following, he told them he loved them and then hugged and kissed his wife and his little girl.

It was a touching an poignant reminder that you can achieve your dreams with hard work, but more than that, family always comes first.
