This Christian Artist Sold More Albums than Today's Top Stars

Twenty-seven-year-old Lauren Daigle's new album, "Look Up Child", is currently number three on the Billboard 200 Chart, which tracks the most-sold albums of the week. It has been almost nine years since a Christian album has sold this well.
In an interview with Associated Press, Daigle speaks about the style of her music, which is intended to appeal to a secular audience. But rather than seeking their approval, she wants them to feel loved and invited.
Daigle intends to reach both her current Christian audience and non-Christians who listen to popular music. By reaching the third spot on the Billboard charts, she has succeeded.
