What is it about Christmas that feels cozy? Maybe it’s being surrounded by family, eating comfort food, snuggling up next to the fire place, and soft lights glowing through windows on cold nights that make me feel comfy inside. Memories of laughter with cousins, giving gifts and listening to my uncle read the story of Jesus in the Bible add to the tenderness of the season.
“Heart warming” has always felt like a cheesy phrase, but when I think of Christmas, my heart does in fact feel warm. As the family grows and new babies are born, the feeling only deepens.
Babies are a gift no matter what time of year, but Christmas takes on a whole new significance with a little one. And what is cozier than a new squishy baby? As if anything could make them cuter, these festive clothes make me want to snuggle the nearest baby.
